Visual Group Supports The Salvation Army With Signage & Graphics Across Doncaster

The Salvation Army opened one of the first charity shops in the 19th century providing affordable clothing to people who couldn’t otherwise afford them. In over 150 years since then, they have remained unwavering in their dedication, ensuring everyone can afford basic necessities and transforming lives through it.

The Situation

Visual Group was approached by The Salvation Army to refresh and update local Doncaster stores' signage. This included direct print onto various sized tray signs, shape cut logo accents, and vinyl window graphics. With over 400 stores across the country it’s very important to the Salvation Army to keep their brand identity consistent throughout each store.

The Solution

Throughout the project, the Visual Group design, manufacture and installation teams made sure all brand guidelines were followed and that the signage was consistent over multiple building sizes, shapes or restrictions.

As part of our “Community at Heart” initiative, Visual Group wanted to help our local Bentley store in any way possible, Visual Group supplied the branch with an illuminated exterior sign, interior wall graphics and a shape cut neon sign to make their store an inviting and exciting atmosphere for customers.

The Result

"We can’t thank the team at Visual group enough for their vision and expertise in creating a one-off bespoke vinyl. After re-locating our charity in Bentley we spoke with the team about wanting to make the charity shop a flag ship shop like no other charity shop in Doncaster. They did not disappoint, not only do we have a custom made wall vinyl they even put a neon shield to highlight the wall. We have never had as many comments from customers saying how amazing the wall looks. Thank you to the Visual Group team!" – Sam Laszkowicz, Area manager – Charity shops
