How Shop Front Signage Transformed Maxwells DIY
Maxwells DIY has been serving the public for almost 90 years. Founded in 1932 by a cabinet maker, the company has expanded significantly over the years and is still a family business. Maxwells pride themselves on being there for the customer to provide them with solutions from doors, DIY, garden or homewares.looking for, Maxwells DIY can help.
The Situation
Maxwells is a customer of one of our affiliate companies and were looking to rebrand their site. The account manager introduced Visual Group to Maxwells and discussions took place as to how we could help. Following the initial brief, the design team set to work creating signage ideas for the store, as well as taking into consideration updating the brand and creating a sign that entices the customer in.
The project included the creation of a number of tray signs, as well as updating the original shop front. Following the successful installation at Barnard Castle, Maxwells then approached us to complete the shop front at Jarrow.
The Solution
The project saw Visual Group undertake a number of works across both the Barnard Castle and Jarrow premises including the manufacture and installation of four Non-Illuminated ACM Tray Signs with Vinyl Graphic detail.
The Result
"We were absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Visual Group on both our Jarrow and Barnard Castle stores. They have helped to bring consistency to all our stores and we now stand out to our customers as the choice for DIY." – Andrew Howe (Jarrow) & Dan Brown (Barnard Castle), Store Managers
