About Trotters Traders

Established in 2008, Trotters Traders in one of the most successful independent discount traders in the Lincolnshire area. Starting out on his local market selling everything for 50p, the business today now consists of 5 retail locations in Grimsby, Louth, Mablethorpe, Scunthorpe and Beverley. As a huge fan of the sitcom ‘Only Fools and Horses’ inspiration for the name of the business was taken from Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter.

The Situation

Trotters Traders is an existing customer of one of our affiliate companies and were looking for signage for their new store in Beverley. Following conversations with their account manager, our team took a trip to location and were asked to come up with designs for re-branding the whole store. This became an extensive project including tray sign frontage, post sign, internal wall graphics, till point signage, window graphics, floor graphics and ceiling hanging signs. A complete retail signage project.

The Solution

This project saw Visual Group undertake a large works contract including manufacture and installation of non-illuminated ACM trays with vinyl graphic detail, post mounted signage, advertising poster frames with posters, ACM projection till signs, directional foamex hanging signs, vinyl logos for internal décor and floor graphics.

The Result

"This was a significant project for us, rebranding the whole store we needed to work with someone we could trust. Following the completion of the installation, the result was amazing.
